Cham Pa fantasy draws on the history and mythology of the Cham kingdoms (2nd–17th century), Austronesian Hindu-Buddhist civilizations that flourished along the central coast of what is now Vietnam. The Cham built some of Southeast Asia's most striking sacred architecture — tall, red-brick tower temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and the Cham goddess Po Nagar — and maintained a powerful naval tradition that brought them into conflict with China, Khmer, and Dai Viet alike.
Stories in this space range from the maritime raids and counter-raids of the Cham coast, to the spiritual politics of a court navigating between Shaivite Hinduism and Theravada Buddhism, to resistance narratives set during the long Dai Viet expansion southward. iWrity connects your book with readers actively seeking this kind of culturally specific Southeast Asian epic fiction.
iWrity's reader pool includes people who have reviewed maritime Southeast Asian historical fiction, Hindu-Buddhist mythology retellings, and resistance-against-conquest epic fantasy. Your Cham Pa story reaches exactly these readers from day one.
Vietnamese historical fiction exists on Amazon, but the Cham perspective, a coastal civilization that fought Dai Viet for a thousand years from red-brick tower temples, is almost absent from commercial fiction. Publish early and you define the category.
Because iWrity targets matched readers, your reviews come from people who chose your book for its subject matter. Their feedback tends to be substantive, specific, and persuasive to other potential buyers who are also looking for this kind of story.
You don't need an email list or a social media following to run a successful ARC campaign. iWrity's reader base is your audience from day one, and both can grow together as your Cham Pa series builds.

Create Your Free AccountYes, and the niche is almost entirely unclaimed. Cham Pa (2nd–17th century) was a confederation of Austronesian Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms that controlled the central and southern coast of present-day Vietnam for over a millennium, famous for their red-brick tower temples, their naval power, and their long resistance against Dai Viet expansion from the north. Commercial English-language fantasy has almost entirely ignored this civilization, making it one of the most open sub-niches in Southeast Asian speculative fiction.
iWrity's matching engine analyzes each reader's review history and stated genre preferences. Readers who have engaged with Southeast Asian coastal empire fiction, Hindu-Buddhist mythology, maritime raiding narratives, and resistance-against-conquest epic fantasy are prioritized for your campaign. These readers appreciate the complexity of a civilization that synthesized Austronesian, Indian, and Chinese influences across more than fifteen centuries of coastal history.
How many reviews you get depends on how many books you review on iWrity and how well your book matches readers in your genre. Cham Pa fantasy tends to attract readers with high completion rates because the historical setting is genuinely distinctive and almost entirely unexplored in commercial English-language fiction.
Every iWrity review is compliant by design. Readers disclose that they received a free advance copy, no star rating is requested or incentivized, and the platform is built to stay inside Amazon's current terms of service. Using iWrity carries none of the account risk that comes with grey-area review tactics.
